Hydrostatic Pressure

HP (psi) = 0.052 × MW (ppg) × TVD (ft)
ppg
ft

Kill Mud Weight (KMW)

KMW = OMW + SIDPP ÷ (0.052 × TVD)
ICP = SCR + SIDPP
FCP = SCR × KMW ÷ OMW

psi
We use SIDPP instead of SICP. KMW is rounded up to the nearest 0.1 ppg as per an IWCF kill sheet, and FCP is calculated using the rounded value. SCR is the slow circulating pressure recorded before the Kick. For training only; follow your company procedures.

MAASP

MAASP = (LOT EMW − MW) × 0.052 × Shoe TVD

ppg
ft
MAASP changes whenever the mud weight in the well changes.

GOR and Water Cut

GOR = Qg ÷ Qo · WC = Qw ÷ (Qo + Qw)
